                September 27, 28, 29 Regional Championship, Capitan, NM

                Garand/Vintage at Capitan: 3/30, 4/20, 6/15, 8/17, 10/19

                LONG RANGE at Capitan: 4/6, 5/4, 6/1, 7/6, 8/3-4, 9/7, 10/5-6

                SMALLBORE at Capitan: 4/14, 5/12, 6/29-30, 8/11, 9/15, 10/12-13

The Capitan Shooting Sports League for the year 2024, will be held on the Capitan range

Approx. 15-20 competitors each event.         

            RULES:

Current NRA Rules apply. Shooters will pull targets and score. Competitors may be asked to assist with range operations.  Must have a current NRA member number.

            SCORING:  Rule 14.18a will be used

            TIME:  8:00 am all matches

            FEES:

$15 adults or $25 for the weekend, $7 juniors/$10 for the weekend.

                Rules: 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3 and 3.3 will apply.

            COURSE OF FIRE FOR EACH DAY:

            Match 1

                200 yards, standing, 2 sighters and 20 shots for record. Time limit 22 minutes.

            Match 2

200 yards, sitting rapid fire. 2 sighters and 20 shots for record. Fire 2, 10 shot strings. Time of 60 seconds  per string.

            Match 3

300 yards, prone rapid fire, 2 sighters and 20 shots for record. Fire 2, 10 shot strings. Time of 70 seconds per string.

            Match 4

                600 yards, prone, 2 sighters and 20 shots for record. Time limit 22 minutes.

            Match 5

                An aggregate of matches 1,2,3 and 4.

            Awards: Cash to be awarded to aggregate winners at the end of match 4.

                Range Location:  Capitan range is 3 miles East of Capitan on North side of Hwy 380.
