HIGH POWER at Capitan: 3/23-24, 4/27-28, 5/25-26, 6/22-23, 7/27-28, 8/24-25, 10/26-27

LONG RANGE at Capitan: 4/6, 5/4, 6/1, 7/6, 8/3-4, 9/7, 10/5-6

SMALLBORE at Capitan: 4/14, 5/12, 6/29-30, 8/11, 9/15, 10/12-13

 The Capitan Shooting Sports League/GSV for the year 2024, will be held on the Capitan range.

RULES:

Current CMP rules (5.0) and NRA Rules apply. Shooters will pull targets and score. Competitors will be asked to assist with range operations; must have a current NRA member number.

            SCORING:  NRA rule 14.18a will be used

            TIME:  8:00 am all matches

            FEES:

$15 adults, $7 juniors.

            COURSE OF FIRE FOR EACH DAY:  Course A (4.5.1, table 3)

            Match 1:

200 yards, prone slow fire, 5 fighters, and 10 shots for record. Time limit 15 minutes.

            Match 2:

200 yards, prone from standing, 10 shots for record, rapid fire.  Time limit 80 seconds

            Match 3:

200 yards, offhand/standing slow fire, 10 shots for record.  Time limit 10 minutes

            Match 4:

            An aggregate of matches 1,2 and 3.

Competitors have the option of shooting a second time across the course with a second rifle.  This course of fire will be run upon completion of the first.

Range Location:  Capitan range is 3 miles East of Capitan, NM on the North side of Hwy 380.
